2. Data stored on your iPhone
Motiten stores the information needed to personalize workouts and display progress locally. It remains in the app’s protected container and is not sent to a Motiten server.
- goal, declared weight, level and available equipment;
- movements to avoid and reminder preferences;
- completed workouts, effort feedback, repetitions and exercise levels;
- streak, history, muscle coverage and widget state.
3. Optional proof videos
If you choose to record a proof, Motiten uses the front camera for up to eight seconds. The microphone is not used. The file stays on this iPhone, is excluded from backup and is never published or uploaded automatically.
You can delete every proof in Settings > Your data. Uninstalling the app also removes media held in the app container.
4. Health and notifications
With your permission, Motiten can write a ten-minute functional strength workout to Apple Health after completion. Motiten requests no read access to Health data.
Notifications are local and optional: a reminder at your chosen time, a reminder one hour after a missed slot, a weekly weight reminder and, only if enabled, up to two Motiten+ messages per week. You can withdraw these permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes payments and does not disclose card details to Motiten. RevenueCat receives an anonymous installation identifier together with purchase history and status as needed to load offers, validate Motiten+, restore access and provide subscription analytics.
RevenueCat receives no Health data, proof video, declared weight or card number. Motiten declares Purchase History for App Functionality and Analytics, not linked to a civil identity and not used for tracking.
6. Technical diagnostics and this website
Motiten includes no advertising SDK and no external marketing analytics. Limited technical event names may be written to the device system log to diagnose the journey. The code excludes names, email addresses, videos, Health data, file paths, URLs and free text.
This public website sets no advertising cookie and uses no marketing measurement tool. Its host may process limited request data strictly required to deliver and secure the site.
7. Purposes and legal grounds
- perform requested features and provide Motiten+ access;
- remember your choices locally with your consent;
- protect, diagnose and maintain the app under our legitimate interests;
- comply with legal duties applying to purchases and subscriptions.
8. Retention, deletion and rights
Local data remains while the app is installed. Uninstalling removes the profile, journal and media from the Motiten container. Workouts already written to Health must be deleted in Apple Health. Apple retains purchase history and RevenueCat processes it according to their own obligations.
You may request information, correction, objection or exercise any other applicable right by emailing mathieuking7@gmail.com. Because Motiten creates no account and does not know your identity, some requests may require information that identifies the relevant purchase. You may also complain to your competent data protection authority.
9. Sale, advertising and sharing
Motiten does not sell your data, use it for targeted advertising, or automatically share proof videos, workout data or Health data. External services are limited to Apple’s App Store for payment, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Apple Health when authorized, and system notifications when enabled.
10. Changes
If data handling changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect and the date at the top will be revised.
