2. Data stored on your iPhone
Motiten stores the information needed to personalize workouts and display progress locally. It remains in the app’s protected container and is not sent to a Motiten server.
- optional profile choice, selected goal, optional starting weight, target weight and weigh-ins, level and available equipment;
- movements to avoid and reminder preferences;
- completed workouts, effort feedback, repetitions and exercise levels;
- streak, history, muscle coverage and widget state.
3. Optional proof videos
If you choose to record a proof, Motiten uses the front camera for up to eight seconds. The microphone is not used. The file stays on this iPhone, is excluded from backup and is never published or uploaded automatically.
You can delete every proof in Settings > Your data. Uninstalling the app also removes media held in the app container.
4. Health and notifications
With your permission, Motiten can write a ten-minute functional strength workout to Apple Health after completion. Motiten requests no read access to Health data.
Notifications are local and optional: a reminder at your chosen time, a reminder one hour after a missed slot, a weekly weight reminder and, only if enabled, up to two Motiten+ messages per week. You can withdraw these permissions in iOS Settings.
5. Purchases and RevenueCat
Apple processes payments and does not disclose card details to Motiten. RevenueCat receives an anonymous installation identifier together with purchase history and status as needed to load offers, validate Motiten+, restore access and provide subscription analytics.
RevenueCat receives no Health data, proof video, declared weight or card number. Its processing supports app functionality and subscription analytics, without advertising tracking by Motiten.
If you have allowed tracking, Motiten may send TikTok and Meta a limited purchase event containing the product identifier, price, and currency, only after RevenueCat confirms the purchase and Motiten+ access. Automatic purchase event logging by the advertising SDKs is disabled. A pending or cancelled purchase, and a restoration, does not create an advertising purchase event.
6. Technical measurement, attribution through TikTok and Meta, and this website
Strictly limited events may measure installation, app launch, onboarding completion, paywall display, purchase start, and a validated purchase. The TikTok and Meta SDKs are initialized only after you allow tracking in iOS. No event that occurred before permission is retained for these services or replayed later. Refusing does not block any feature, workout, or purchase.
After permission, TikTok and Meta may receive device identifiers, including the advertising identifier when available, IP address and approximate location that may be inferred from it, language, device model and system, app version, session information, and the limited properties of authorized events. Apple considers linking this data with third-party data to measure or optimize a campaign to be tracking.
After that same permission, TikTok and Meta may also receive technical performance metrics and information about crashes or other internal SDK incidents to diagnose how their SDKs operate. Motiten does not use these diagnostics to send Health data, weight, workouts, photos, or videos.
Automatic purchase event logging by the advertising SDKs is disabled: only a purchase confirmed by RevenueCat may be sent. TikTok enhanced interface analysis and advanced identification remain disabled. Motiten never sends TikTok or Meta your name, email address, phone number, profile choice, body-related or post-pregnancy goal, starting weight, target weight, weigh-ins, Health data, photos, videos, workout details or effort feedback, file paths, URLs, or free-form text.
This public website sets no advertising cookie and uses no marketing measurement tool. Its host may process limited request data strictly required to deliver and secure the site.
7. Purposes and legal grounds
- perform requested features and provide Motiten+ access;
- remember your choices locally with your consent;
- protect, diagnose and maintain the app under our legitimate interests;
- measure and optimize Motiten campaigns only with your tracking consent;
- comply with legal duties applying to purchases and subscriptions.
8. Retention, deletion and rights
Local data remains while the app is installed. Uninstalling removes the profile, journal and media from the Motiten container. Workouts already written to Health must be deleted in Apple Health. Apple retains purchase history and RevenueCat processes it according to their own obligations.
Data sent to TikTok or Meta after your permission is retained under their respective policies. You can turn off permission in iOS Settings at any time: Motiten then blocks new advertising events and access to the advertising identifier. This cannot recall a request already sent or delete data those services collected with your permission. Uninstalling the app does not delete it either.
You may request information, correction, objection or exercise any other applicable right by emailing mathieuking7@gmail.com. Because Motiten creates no account and does not know your identity, some requests may require information that identifies the relevant purchase. You may also complain to your competent data protection authority.
9. Sale, advertising and sharing
Motiten does not sell your data or display ads in the app. It never shares your photos, videos, weight, Health data, or workout details. With your tracking permission, limited technical, interaction, and purchase data is shared with TikTok and Meta only to attribute, measure, and optimize Motiten campaigns. Other external services are Apple’s App Store for payment, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Apple Health when authorized, and system notifications when enabled.
10. Changes
If data handling changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect and the date at the top will be revised.
